Habitat:

In India grow in warm, semi-tropical regions with low rainfall and deep alluvial soil. They can also tolerate saline, alkaline, and gravelly soils.

 

Flowering Season:

It flowers from July to September.

 

Fruiting Season:

It fruits from January to April.

 

Climatic Conditions:

It prefers acidic well-drained loamy soil (pH 5–6). temperatures, from 26.2°F (-3°C) to 109°F (43°C).  Rainfall conditions  from less than 500 mm to over 1500 mm per year. 

 

Seed Propagation:

Tamarind seeds need soaked clean water (room temperature, 20-26 C) for 3 days, then soaked with warm water (around 40-45 C) for 24 hours. Then immediately seeded in place of shady. When the seeds begin to germinate, transfer to a bright place, next planted and cared for.

 

Parts used:

Root: It can be used to treat stomach aches and abdominal pain.

Leaves: Leaves have many uses, including in cooking, traditional medicine, and as a food supplement.

Fruit: Its partially dried fruit is used to make medicine. People take tamarind for constipation, liver and gallbladder problems, and stomach disorders.
