Habitat:
Tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, Australia, and the Pacific, Assam , Bengal. It can be found in forests, along riverbanks, and in swampy areas.
Flowering Season:
It flowers from December to July.
Fruiting Season:
It fruits from August to October.
Climatic condition:
Temperatures ranging from 3°C to 38°C. It prefers areas with 1500–5000 mm of rainfall per year, but can survive in areas with as little as 150 mm.
Seed propagation:
It can be propagated by sowing in a well-drained mix of soil and sand. The seeds should be kept moist and in a warm, humid environment.
