Habitat: 

Coastal areas, grasslands, forests, and disturbed areas. It's a native plant of Madagascar, but it's also naturalized in many tropical and subtropical regions around the world.

Flowering Season:

It flowers from July to September.

Fruiting Season:

It fruits from July to September.

Climatic Conditions:

It prefers temperatures above 41–45 °F (5–7 °C). Prefers a mean annual rainfall in the range 1,000–1,200 mm .

Seed propagation

Seeds can be sown in the spring in a warm, bright location. Prune the plant regularly to maintain its shape and encourage bushier growth.

Bark: It is used to extract alkaloids that have many medicinal uses.

Leaves: It including treating diabetes, diabetes,blood dysentery, and menorrhagia. Medicinal uses of  leaves, roots, and latex of the Catharanthus roseus plant have been used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of diseases.
