Habitat:
Grows in tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate regions. It's native to Asia and is now grown all over the world.
Flowering:
In the spring, between March and June. The trees flower for about two to four weeks after a period of winter dormancy.
Fruiting:
It fruits from December to April.
Climatic conditions:
Temperature in tropical zones below 500 meters and need a dry climate with about 50–75 cms of rainfall from June to September.
