Habitat: 

It thrives in moist deciduous forests and tropical regions.

Flowering Season:

summer months, typically from March to May

Fruiting Season:

from June to August. The fruit is a woody drupe, which is oval-shaped, and turns brownish-yellow when ripe. Each fruit contains a single seed.

Seed Propagation:

soaked in warm water for 12–24 hours to improve germination rates. Seeds are sowed in well-drained soil. Germination typically takes between 2 to 4 weeks.

Climatic Conditions:

warm climates, with an optimal temperature range of 25°C to 40°C, high annual rainfall of approximately 1,000 mm to 2,500 mm. loamy or sandy soils.

Parts Used:

Bark:  The bark is believed to possess cardioprotective, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties.

Leaves: used in traditional remedies for treating fevers and infections, although they are less commonly utilized than the bark.

Fruit and Seeds: used in some traditional remedies, particularly in treating digestive issues, although they are less commonly used than the bark. The seeds can also be utilized for propagation.
